Physical Therapy

 True Care Home Therapy offers outpatient physical therapy services that address the function of gross motor skills such as walking, transferring and negotiating stairs. The focus of the therapist is to evaluate and treat individuals who have limitations that can result from injury, progressive diseases, or congenital impairment. At True Care Home Therapy we offer occupational therapy evaluations and treatment plans in the comfort of your home or community. 

Occupational therapy services address fine motor control to master the “skills of life”.

Treatment emphasis is on hand dexterity as well as cognitive ability, patient education and energy conservation.

Interventions also address social skills needed while gaining function or learning adaptations in recovery.

Speech Therapy

  

True Care Home Therapy speech therapy services address the acts of eating, swallowing and communication. 

Speech challenges occur when an individual has difficulty producing sounds correctly. 

Other language disorders requiring speech therapy include the inability to understanding or expressing thoughts or feelings. 

These areas of dysfunction can be combined with social communication disorders. 

The speech language pathologist can assist with these conditions through treatment, family training and augmentative communication devices when appropriate.
